Day 16
Location: Crow Valley Creek
Distance: 14 mi
Weather: sunny and too warm
Mood: Glad the pack is getting lighter
After a good rest of my aching feet and knees from yesterday's long hike and heavy backpack, today's hike was shorter & everything felt better other than the heat and humidity. The elevation was fairly flat and even though I thought I was moving pretty fast, most of the time Anthony was out of sight somewhere out in front of me. But he always stops at some point & waits for me to catch up 😀.
Anthony relaxing at lunch at Gooseberry River just before a small rain cloud snuck up on us and got everything wet. It only lasted 5 minutes.
There was a nice view on Fifth Falls bridge near Goosseberry Falls State Park.
We have hiked over 200 miles in total through today and tomorrow will mark over 200 trail miles hiked!
