Hiking the Northwoods on the SHT and NCT

We plan to hike for 6 weeks and more than 500 miles of the North Country National Scenic Trail through Minnesota, Wisconsin, and a small part of Michigan. We'll begin our journey at the northern terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail, a part of the NCT that runs along Minnesota's north shore of Lake Superior from the Canadian border to Wisconsin. We start from the SHT northern terminus at the end of August 2025.
